HERITAGE SYMPOSIUM PORT ELIZABETH – 05 & 06 SEPTEMBER 2008 Hosted by the Mandela Bay Heritage Trust (MBHT) INVITATION You are cordially invited to the above Symposium, which is being hosted by the Mandela Bay Heritage Trust – the MBHT – on behalf of Heritage South Africa. Two case studies of relevance to every urban community will be presented. In the process, attention will also be focused on the current state of the preservation and management of our heritage resources at both central, provincial and local government levels, not neglecting the role that civic society, and also the business community, can and should play in this regard. The registration fee is R400 per person. Payment should accompany the appended form. This fee covers documentation and refreshments and finger lunch on both days, as well as the concluding HERITAGE DINNER (and an invitation to the Civic reception on the first evening).
